The mission of the NBSCT is to provide and maintain a standard of excellence in the practice of
cardiology technology within New Brunswick. We are the NB provincial representation of the CSCT (Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists), our national governing body and therefore affiliated with the CCC (Canadian Cardiovascular Congress).  New Brunswick has achieved an important goal that continues to remain elusive to other provinces. In 2004 we attained legislation that mandates the presence and expertise of a cardiology technologist during specific procedures and tests. We are an essential part of the healthcare team!

If you are a NB RCT, an RCT from another province, a Cardiology Technology student or you are just checking us out, please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you might have.  The field of Cardiology Technology has evolved over the years and continues to change. We will be here alongside you every step of the way.

La mission de l'NBSCT est de fournir et de maintenir un niveau d'excellence dans la pratique de
la technologie de cardiologie au Nouveau-Brunswick. Nous sommes la représentation provinciale NB du CSCT (Société canadienne des technologues en cardiologie), notre organisme national et donc affilié à la CCC (Congrès canadien de santé cardiovasculaire). Nouveau-Brunswick a atteint un objectif important qui continue à rester insaisissable à d'autres provinces. En 2004, nous avons atteint une législation qui impose la présence et de l'expertise d'un technologue en cardiologie au cours des procédures et des tests spécifiques. Nous sommes une pièce essentielle de l'équipe de soins de santé!
